Candy & Sweets

Imported chocolate, gummies by the wall, sour candy, retro favorites and a growing better-for-you shelf — in the shop on George Washington Way in Richland.

What is on the shelf changes constantly. We buy in small runs and a lot of it is seasonal or one-off, so the best of it never lasts long and this page describes the kinds of things we carry rather than a fixed list. The only way to see what is actually in today is to come in.

International chocolate

European and imported chocolate bars are one of the things people drive across the Tri-Cities for. Milka alpine milk chocolate, hazelnut and the milk-and-white Happy Cow bars sit alongside dark chocolate with mint and other bars that rotate through as we find them. If you grew up with a chocolate bar that is hard to find here, it is worth asking — a lot of our best sellers started as a customer request.

Gummies, sour and chewy

The gummy shelf is the busiest one in the store: Albanese twelve-flavor bears including a sugar-free version, sour apple and sour pineapple bears, strawberry rose, cinnamon apple, and grown-up champagne and chardonnay wine gummies that make an easy hostess gift. Sour candy comes and goes quickly, so what is on the shelf this week is genuinely different from last week.

Vegan, gluten-free and sugar-free

We keep a real selection for people who usually get skipped in a candy store — vegan gummies and chews, gluten-free sweets, and sugar-free options that are not an afterthought. If you are shopping for someone with a restriction, come in and ask; it is much easier to point at the right shelf in person than to guess from a list.

Retro and novelty

Candy you remember from being a kid, PEZ refills, hot cocoa bombs in the colder months, and the odd novelty item that is really a gift with candy inside. This is the corner that changes the most, because it is mostly small-batch and seasonal.
